Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using icequakestudios.com or engaging our production support services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing icequakestudios.com, submitting a contact form, booking a production support call, or applying to join our network, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. These terms apply to all visitors, users, clients, and network applicants.
2. Description of Services
IceQuake Studios provides on-demand production support services in Texas, including but not limited to:
Second shooter placement (photo and video)
Lighting technician coordination and deployment
Gear rental coordination and delivery logistics
Full production crew staffing (DPs, PAs, grips, gaffers)
Last-minute crew backup and emergency deployment
Pre-production consulting and creative support
Services are initiated via our Production Support Call, booked through our Calendly scheduling system. IceQuake Studios acts as a coordinator connecting clients with vetted, independent production professionals. We are not an employer of the crew members we place.
3. Booking and Payments
All service bookings are confirmed during your Production Support Call
Pricing is estimated via our Cost Calculator tool and finalized on your booking call
Payment terms, including deposit requirements and due dates, are agreed upon during the booking call
Cancellation policies, including any applicable fees, are discussed and agreed upon during booking
We reserve the right to decline any booking at our sole discretion
Changes to confirmed bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional fees
4. Partner Network Applications
Production professionals, vendors, and crew members may apply to join the IceQuake Partner Network via our /network page.
All applications are subject to our vetting and screening process
Acceptance into the Partner Network is at our sole discretion
Partner Network members must maintain professional standards, including punctuality, communication, and quality of work
We reserve the right to suspend or remove Partner Network members at any time for any reason
Partner Network members are independent contractors, not employees of IceQuake Studios
Partner Network members are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and professional licenses
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when using our services
You agree not to misuse, abuse, or circumvent our services or systems
You are responsible for your conduct and the conduct of your team during productions
You agree not to directly contract, hire, or solicit any crew member introduced through IceQuake Studios for a period of 12 months without our written consent
You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose
You are responsible for ensuring proper permits, insurance, and permissions for your productions
6. Intellectual Property
The IceQuake Studios name, logo, brand identity, and all website content — including text, graphics, images, and design — are the property of IceQuake Studios and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission
You may not use our brand name or logo for any commercial purpose without authorization
Content you submit (contact forms, applications) remains your property; you grant us a license to use it for service delivery
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided on an “as-is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We do not guarantee the availability of any specific crew member or equipment
We do not warrant that crew members placed will meet every expectation or creative requirement
We are not responsible for the quality, output, or conduct of independent contractors we coordinate
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website functionality
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IceQuake Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim
We are not liable for cancellations, delays, or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)
We are not responsible for any damages resulting from the actions or inactions of independent crew members
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless IceQuake Studios, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or in any way connected with your use of our services, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Texas.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms of Service at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notifying you via email. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, please discontinue use of our services.
